Ensemble Reconsil. Call for scores of works for 1–8 instruments, preferably from the following list: 1 flute (including picc., alto fl., bass fl.), 1 oboe (including English horn), 1 clarinet (including bass cl.), 1 bassoon, 1 saxophone (sop., alto., tenor., bari.), 1 horn, 1 trumpet, 1 trombone, 1 piano, 1 accordion, 2 violins, 1 viola, 1 cello, 1 contrabass. Electronics may be used, but the composer must provide all technical equipment except the sound system. Works created after 2010 are preferred. New Opera West (NOW) Fall 2022 “pop-up” festival. Call for works of opera scenes of about 5–10 minutes in length. The scene may be about any topic, may be excerpted from a longer piece, but it must stand on its own with a complete and coherent dramatic arc. The text must be primarily in English. About 2–5 characters of standard voice type in any combination. Score should include piano accompaniment.
